We own a number of flats and houses to rent in Ipswich, Suffolk. The properties are located on the Ravenswood estate which is close to Ipswich hospital and a short journey along the A14 to BT Martlesham.
About Ravenswood, Ipswich
Ravenswood is a modern Bellway estate on the site of the old Ipswich airport. There are a range of shops, a pub, a doctors’ surgery and a primary school on the site and Sainsbury’s is five minutes’ drive away.
The estate was attractively planned by Bellway with a fair amount of green space including different children's play areas and a cricket pitch. Many of the roads twist and curve rather than being designed in regimented straight lines and the odd wide, tree-lined street gives a further feeling of space. Properties have been finished to a high standard in a range of complimentary styles. Unlike some cheaper estates by other developers where the roads and drives are done in cheap pea-shingle and the houses do not have fences around them, there are proper roads throughout the estate, the flat car-parks have proper tarmac and many houses have been finished with paved drives and proper brick walls. Blocks of flats are no more than four stories high; many flats are in blocks that are only three stories high.
